The following is a time lapse video of photographs taken during our rehearsal this week. This is a very fun and easy technique. All I did was put my camera on a tripod with a wide angle lens, set my camera (D300) to take a photo every 45 seconds, and let it snap away for a couple hours. Then using a movie editor (iMovie), import all the photos, overlay a song along with the photos, add some titles, then finally export. Voila, you have a time lapse video to share with the world wide web!

Welcome Baby Joshua!!!

Last week I got to see and visit my friend’s newborn baby, Joshua, for the first time. He is such a big boy @ 13lbs! I am really excited to see him grow up! Here are some portraits of him and the parents, along with some strobist info.

Setup: SB600 directly overhead, and SB900 on camera for fill.

Strobist info: SB600 with shoot through umbrella directly overhead, SB900 on camera for fill, and white bounce reflector below for fill.
